A used PRS is about as common in this store as a popsicle in a hot tub:

we aren’t saying it never happens, but not won’t last long.

This PSR SE Swamp Ash CE 24 features a swamp ash body, 24 frets, a coil splitter on the bridge humbucker, and a limited-edition Sandblasted Blue finish.

Brand-new, they sell for $699; this one is missing the tremelo bar but is in minty-fresh shape aside from that, and we’ve marked it at $499.

Hello! You may recall we had posted earlier that our store would be closed until Saturday.

Welp: we inadvertently lied.

We wrapped up our projects earlier than expected, so the store is back open

T O D A Y.

Better yet, we have fun new inventory:

fresh vintage vinyl,

a couple used effects pedals,

a brand-new PRS SE, and

a VERY fun used 50s Vibe Squier Telecaster with aftermarket locking Hipshot machines.

It’s a beautiful day for a new (or new-to-you) guitar. If you think so too, we can help. 🙂

Today, KMH Music and Home Ec enjoyed a rare opportunity to stop by our favorite lunch spot -- JR BBQ food truck, by Walmart. The pulled pork nachos are 👌!

Hey, friends! We wanted to give you timely notice that we’ll be closed from Monday to Friday next week.

We’ll reopen for business on Saturday (May 30th) at 10 AM.

If you absolutely desperately need us during the week (think, “HELP! MY GUITAR DIED AND I NEED A NEW ONE,” not “Hey, do you guys know any piano tuners?”) feel free to message the page.

Thanks for your understanding. Happy spring!

Our most recent guitar acquisition is an Epiphone Les Paul Standard with an orange burst quilt-maple top, Grover machines, a bone nut, and that iconic heft and tone that makes the Les Paul legendary.

These sell for $699 brand-new. Our used one is $350.

Why the big discount, you ask? WELL. It just so happens that when this guitar was brand-new, it got dropped. And the neck snapped. 😬

The neck has been repaired, the guitar plays fine, and the repair is only noticeable if you’re looking at the back of the neck.

In other words, your audience members will have no idea you scored your Epiphone Les Paul for half of the price because it was damaged and repaired: they’ll just think you look awesome with your cool guitar.

Hey, this is rare: we just took in two used (but great shape) fitted guitar cases - one for a standard Les Paul body style, and the other for an SG.

They’re $65 each, a savings of $84 off the new price ($149).

“Do you guys buy record collections?”

Nine times out of ten, no. The record collection in question is a stack of classical or 1960s country music albums that smell so heavily of mold and basement that we’re scared to touch them without gloves.

Sometimes, though, we hit paydirt: a collection of bands and albums we love, at a price low enough that we can resell it for $20 or less per album. (Except the Beatles’ White Album; that one’s so rare we’re charging a whopping TWENTY-FIVE dollars.)

Anyhoo, if these are your jam, maybe try to get here soon. After this, according to the statistics, the next nine record collections someone tris to sell us will be mostly Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass and The Captain And Tennille’s Greatest Hit(s).

We just restocked one of our favorite guitar models. This $199 Ibanez acoustic-electric is easy to play, includes a built-in tuner, and features a smaller-than-standard body that’ll accommodate players who might find a standard-size guitar hard to work around.

Best yet, if you’re sick of decision fatigue, these come in black, midnight, and charcoal. (Meaning: they only come in black.)

New vintage vinyl drop, 5/13/26. Woohoo!

Thanks to our friend Shane Mountain for this all-too-true caveat. 🙂
