Quilts made by the Hugo Ladies Club/Schoolhouse Quilters were donated to Deputies to give out to children during stressful situations. Sometimes calls lead to Deputies caring for or comforting a child and these blankets are meant to help children feel safe, protected and cared for. Each quilt comes with a tag that reads, “May this quilt bring you peace and comfort.”
If you or anyone you know is interested in making/donating quilts or blankets for children in need, please contact the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office at (541) 474-5123 x 3144 to make your donation.
