Date and location for our next sale is still to be determined, but that has not kept us from stocking up on more books! Here are a few recent finds! 📚 Follow along for updates on our next sale!

We have some huge exciting news! With some recent Alabama policy updates, Dadeville Public Library will soon be offering kiddos their very own cards. To celebrate that, we will be holding a contest through the month of August for our young patrons to submit their own designs to be featured on this new card.

Here is how it’ll work:
- To submit a design you must be the age of 17 or under. These cards will be for our children and young adults, so we want to make sure they are the ones who have the opportunity. While parents can help, we want to make sure these designs are by the younger patrons
- No AI. We want to see our patrons direct creativity.
- You can submit all designs to Director Brooke at [email protected].

We will be accepting designs from August 1st-24th

The winner of this contest will be selected by the librarians, board members, and others volunteers. When selected, that patron’s design will be featured on our new child cards starting in September with a spotlight in the library socials and other media avenues.

Let us know if you have any questions, and we can’t wait to see your designs!

Mark your calendars! After a successful Page Fest event, the Prattville Silent Book Club is excited to announce the kick-off of another inaugural event for this Fall: Fountain City Lit Con! It'll be a great time celebrating local authors and the amazing local bookish community we have here in the River Region.

We'll be featuring up to 36 authors from all over Alabama! We'll also have some bookish vendors to shop during the event. Stay tuned as we keep you updated over the next few months on attending authors and other information.
