School is out for the summer THIS WEEK! Stop into for one ( or a few) of their surprise bags this summer!

Here are 3 ways to spend time this summer with their surprise bags.
1. The thrill of the hunt! We can always spend at least an hour looking for the perfect bag/bottle. Challenge your kids to find different characteristics “ find a bag with lots of sparkle!” Or “ find a bottle with lots of buttons.”

2. Just like Rhonda mentioned- CRAFTING! From upcycling outfits to jewelry making, these are the perfect addition to your summer time crafts!

3. Playing Dress Up! Have some added fun and dress to the nines (complete with jewelry from the bags) to go to lunch or dinner one day! You won’t regret it!

Memorial Day is always such a special time in Downtown Powell. Remembering those who gave their lives for our freedom while coming together as a community is one of my favorite community traditions.

This weekend many of our shops, breweries, and restaurants have specials! Downtown Powell is a great place to gather with friends and family to enjoy the long weekend. We can’t wait to see you!

It’s Street Market weekend! Come shop from our local stores and 60+ vendors in Downtown Powell. Please note there will be a traffic pattern change as 750/OLENTANGY is shut down from the light to the railroad tracks. Please follow the detour wondering where to park? We suggest parking at 110 S Liberty, Library Park, Murphy’s Park, or Adventure Park.

Scan the QR code on any of our maps in Downtown Powell to see the parking lots available in our downtown.

Parking is a hot topic right now in Powell. Please note that Local Roots parking lot is a private lot. If you plan to go to Local Roots and then want to adventure around town that is completely fine, but in that case you must go to Local Roots first before walking around. Do not park there and then try to go to one of the other establishments first or you will be towed.

All of our downtown establishments i.e. restaurants, shops, breweries, welcome visitors and residents. They just ask that parking spaces right in front of or behind their establishments are used by those who are visiting their businesses.
