Our View From Behind the Counter 🍫🍬

This is our view—the one we get to enjoy every day from behind the counter at Poulsbo Candy Shoppe.

From here, we get to welcome visitors discovering our little shop for the first time, greet familiar faces from our wonderful community, offer tastes of our handmade fudge, and help someone find that nostalgic candy they haven’t seen since they were a kid.

We love presenting trays filled with fresh, handmade fudge. We love pointing out old-fashioned favorites and introducing customers to something new. But most of all, we love watching the smiles—the moment someone tastes a sample, spots a childhood favorite, or walks away with a little bag or box of something special.

Customer service has always been at the heart of what we do. From our side of the counter, we get a pretty wonderful view: you.

🍷 State 42 Cabernet Franc Fudge is BACK — for a limited time!

Our rich, decadent Dark Chocolate Cabernet Franc Fudge, made with State 42 Cabernet Franc, has returned to the case. Dark chocolate and beautiful red wine make a pretty delicious pair!

There’s an extra-sweet story behind this week’s Ophelia’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Fudge! 🍪🤎

Ophelia is the middle flower granddaughter of the Poulsbo Candy Shoppe owner, and she thoughtfully developed this delicious fudge recipe especially for our customers.

Her creation starts with creamy chocolate chip cookie dough fudge, loaded with cookie dough goodness, chocolate chip cookies and mini chocolate chips, then topped with a mini chocolate chip cookie. Because according to Ophelia, there’s really no such thing as too much cookie dough. ❤️

We absolutely love when our family gets to be part of what we create here at the Candy Shoppe—and we think Ophelia knocked this one out of the park!

Our Unicorn Poo Bubblegum Fudge is a whimsical swirl of pretty pink and purple bubblegum-flavored fudge, filled with fluffy marshmallow clouds and sprinkled with shimmering gold magic fairy dust. ✨

It’s colorful, silly, sweet, and ridiculously fun — exactly what we imagine a unicorn treat should be!

🦄 UNICORN POO
Yes, you read that right! Purple and pink swirled bubblegum fudge with fluffy marshmallow clouds and a sprinkle of magical gold fairy dust. It’s whimsical, colorful, and ridiculously fun!
