Market season is here! ☀️🛍️

In this reel, I’m sharing two things I’ve learned from my years as a vendor: choosing the right events and deciding if vendor fees are worth the investment.

Personally, I’ve found that established and reputable events often provide consistency, loyal crowds, and great opportunities to connect with customers.

But every business is different, and each owner has to do what works best for them.

These are simply lessons I’ve learned along my small business journey. 💜

🌿 Opening Day at the Poughkeepsie Arlington Farmers Market! 🌿

May 28th marked the first day of this year’s market season, and I couldn’t be happier to be back. This is my third year as a vendor at the Poughkeepsie Arlington Farmers Market, and it’s something I look forward to every season.

For me, market season has never been just about sales. It’s about building meaningful connections, earning trust within my community, and strengthening the relationships I’ve made over the years. Seeing familiar faces, meeting new people, and connecting with fellow vendors is what makes these markets so special.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and supported small businesses. I can’t wait for another wonderful season with this amazing community.💜

☀️📦 Packing summer scent orders today!

I had so much fun packing these seasonal summer scent orders featuring Pink Lemonade and Fresh Lilac.

These scents have been doing so well both in person and online, and I’m beyond excited that you all are loving them so much. 💜

One order was for my loyal customer Alicia from Poughkeepsie, NY, and the other was for fellow vendor Samantha from , who I absolutely adore and appreciate.

🌱🎉 OPENING DAY IS THIS SATURDAY! 🎉🌱

The wait is almost over! The Hyde Park Farmers Market returns this Saturday, June 6, from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at 4390 Albany Post Road for what promises to be our biggest and best season yet!

Come meet our incredible lineup of local farmers, bakers, makers, artisans, food vendors, and community partners who will be with us throughout the season. From fresh produce, local meats, eggs, sourdough bread, baked goods, honey, coffee alternatives, handmade gifts, ceramics, cards, treats, and so much more—there truly is something for everyone. And this is just the beginning - there are more vendor announcements coming soon! 🤯

🌽 We’re also kicking off our NEW POP Club (Power of Produce Club)!
Kids ages 3-12 can sign up at the market to participate in weekly activities, earn POP tokens, and learn all about healthy eating, local agriculture, and where their food comes from.
