The Plaid Pig is a matchmaker of old world charm
and modern appeal and is rooted in
a history-rich 1825 fieldstone farmhouse in
Pughtown, PA. Pughtown was once a station stop
on the historic Delaware River and Lancaster Railroad
— known locally as the Sowbelly Railroad,
thus making it the perfect place for The Plaid Pig. The Plaid Pig was born when Diann, owner, combined
two of her favorite

things*, pigs and shopping,
into a distinctive retail experience offering unique
accents for body and home. With The Plaid Pig,
Diann knew she was introducing the perfect place
for area shoppers to find treasures they can’t find
anywhere else, in a location close to home.
