💜 An ode to Carly on her last day 💜

After one week of Carly working at Reedmor, we knew she was part of the fam for life.

She has the best style, the coolest tattoos, and the most hilarious comedic timing. She can do literally any job in the store and brings thoughtful and evocative questions to every book club she leads.

Our girl’s brand of books is “woman has s*x with inanimate object,” “woman has mental breakdown” and “woman has s*x with inanimate object while having mental breakdown”…and we love her for it.

Reedmor Books & Brews is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic hybrid bookseller/bartender to join our team!

Responsibilities:
● Helping customers find books and offering recommendations
● Operating the POS system and register, restocking books, and maintaining displays
● Keeping the bookstore, bar, and customer areas clean and organized
● Assisting with events both onsite and offsite, including book clubs, author appearances, workshops, and private events
● Serving beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks
● Preparing and serving light snacks and bar food
● Following all food safety and alcohol service policies

Ideal applicant:
• Age 21+
• Previous retail, bookselling, bartending, or hospitality experience
• Avid reader with interest in leading a book club
• Dependable, mature, and comfortable working independently
• Desire to grow in the position

Schedule:
• Part time, beginning at approximately 15 hours per week with the potential for growth
• Evening and weekend availability required

We are so excited to welcome Em from Garden of the Moon to Reedmor for a beautiful afternoon of tea, conversation, and reconnecting with the wisdom of our bodies. ✨

Part workshop, part tea tasting, and part sharing circle — “Inner Seasons, Inner Wisdom” merges the mystical & the menstrual. Here, we will explore how Earth-based, seasonal wisdom can provide a guiding light for women in their monthly flow to navigate a new relationship to “that time of the month.” By viewing the menstrual cycle as just that—a cycle—and exploring the energetic gifts & guidance each phase possesses, we will begin to rewrite the narrative about embracing your bleed time and reclaiming your body’s wisdom through powerful feminine archetypes and herbal allies. You will also have a chance to try each of the four teas from Garden of the Moon’s “Inner Seasons Tea Set” ~ one tea for each phase of the fertility cycle.
