Hello and thank you for stopping by our Face Book Page. My Name is Tim Timmins and I was Born and raised in the Portland Oregon area. As a young boy I had a love for toy vehicles and trains. I am grateful to have had a Father who also shared my passion for toy vehicles and trains. Dad always taught me to treat my toys with respect and appreciate the hard work it took to afford them. A portion of m
y collection is toys I had as a child. Some of my favorite memories were going to King Norman's Toys at the Washington Square Mall in Tigard Oregon to check out the latest offerings. Many years later in life I found myself digging out those old toys again and setting up the train set. As a young Adult I found it was a great way to offset the everyday stresses and the ability to travel back into my childhood years. My first car was a 1967 Ford Mustang convertible. I collected anything and everything Ford Mustang. My Dad and I would travel to every local toy show and swap meet looking for Mustang toys and collectables. When eBay came on line we really went nuts and the collection tripled over night. We still have a large collection of these Mustang toys. Please let me know if there is anything in the Toy Mustang world that you are looking for, there is a pretty good chance we have it. I also have a great interest in N-Scale Trains. It started as a hobby and then going to local railroad swap meets and shows to buy more stuff. My Father ofter traveled with me to these shows and also loved the feeling that we shared so many years back when I was just a kid. The “hobby” turned into a small eBay business. After our Son “TJ” was old enough to join my Father and I we would visit every model train show we could find buying and selling along the way. TJ is very involved in every aspect of our vintage toy and train business. He just turned 13 and has a great love and knowledge of the hobby. After 25 plus years in Automotive Operations Management I decided to “retire” and spend more time with my family and less time behind the desk. We now have a thriving Antique and Vintage Toy business. We sell at about 15 local Portland area train swap meets a year as well as the Greater Seattle Toy Shows, the Palmer Wirfs Antique Shows at the Portland Expo center and the little one and two day local shows. We sell the majority of our trains on eBay and most f our Vintage toys at four Antique Malls in Seaside Oregon, Astoria Oregon, Aurora Oregon and in my home town of Beaverton Oregon. You can also find many of our toys listed on Craig's List under the key word search of ( Timco Vintage Toys ). I also will runs ads for each of the mall stores showing the latest offerings. You can find our current N-Scale train auctions on eBay under the seller name of TTIMM
We have a very large selection of vintage and newer releases of locomotives and rolling stock. This inventory is added to on a weekly basis so I there is something in N-scale that you are looking for and you don't find it on our eBay auctions please contact me and I will see if I have it of can find it for you. We carry Micro Trains Lines, Con-Cor, Lifelike trains, Kato, Atlas Round House, Athrean, exact Rail, Fox Valley and many others. We also have a huge selection of N-Scale vehicles. Now along with model trains come the real thing. I have always wanted to have a real vintage caboose on the property as the model train club house but that is yet to happen. We do collect and sell vintage railroad hardware like caboose Lanterns, hand and switch stand oil burning lanterns. We try to have several at each of our Antique Mall locations for sale as well as many in our personal inventory. We collect Northern Pacific, SP&S, Union Pacific, Southern Pacific, Great Northern and many short line railroads. We are one of the rare breeds that put honor ahead of net profits. If we have something in one of our Antique Mall locations it needs to be sold through that mall. They are due the % of the sale and we have no issue with that. They are partners in our business and if you are out of the local area they will provide shipping services. If there are any questions regarding anything at one of our four Antique Mall locations please call their phone number that I have provide and they will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
