Better Hearing and Speech Month (BHSM), celebrated annually in May, was established by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to raise awareness about communication disorders. Initiated in 1927 as "National Hearing Week," it evolved into a full month in 1958 and adopted its current title in 1972 to include speech and language disorders.

Winter is rough on hearing aids. Moisture can damage hearing aids, so it's essential to keep them dry.
When coming in from the cold, remove your hearing aids and wipe them off with a dry cloth.
If your hearing aids are exposed to moisture, use a dehumidifier to dry them out overnight. There are many types of dehumidifiers available, including electric and rechargeable models. Several options are currently on special please use the link to visit our special page.
