I found antique 2 hair pin holders in one week , one is a dresser tray and the other a lidded box. Then I found a box of hair pins !
But my favorite is the oval painting of the girl. The label on the back dates her to the 19th century . She is a Beauty!

It was a fun day putting on the miles to go shopping . I’m fond of everything that we got but it’s my very first to find early 1900s postcards from Spain , even the backs are stunning !

Our small but mighty space got a makeover today. I love the way it turned out , it actually looks really full . I like to stack and pack 😁
I moved the 3 vintage shoe displayers to the front of the booth. They are solid metal, I’m thinking they may have been from a department store ?
I also added the Puyallup Tribune mail tube . I always love finding theses and old mail carrier bags .
Three Daisies does ship and they are happy to answer any questions .

I’ve been hanging onto this fabulous old mailbox for a few months now . It looks like like a Santa mailbox to me .
The lid lifts up to put the letters in . The maker drilled holes in the bottom, just in case it got water inside .
Its just sitting there telling a story of all the letters that passed through it over the years . Maybe a letter from the bank , threatening foreclosure? Or good news , friends were coming for a visit. Or that son in WW2 was wounded but coming home .
I’m so drawn to good things like this ❤️

So that killer blue table that my sweet friend let me buy ? Well , when it’s owner painted the legs and skirt boards that Beautiful blue they didn’t pull it out away from the wall to paint that last skirt board 😂 we find cabinets like that , the side against the wall doesn’t get painted but never a table ! I’m leaving it just the way it is because it has been that way for too many years for me to change it now ❤️
We’re at 91 degrees today here in Oregon, I’m pretty sure it’s record breaking for June .

I’m 99 percent sure that this beauty will be coming to a show soon , not great junk hunt because I already did my preset and I’m not changing now 😂
Original, Chippy white paint is my favorite but I’m not sure if it’s the perfect piece that I’ve been looking for . It’s really, really close , I’ve got time to decide .

I’ve been a bit enamored with vintage tins lately ❤️
I’m keeping my collection very small but I bought this sweet candies tin to bring to one of my April shows .
Joe is working on a farm table , he uses all vintage worn wood and table legs . My job is up next , giving it a fresh coat of white paint. I’ll post pictures the end of the week ❤️
