It's another sizzler out there today! We hope you and your pets are staying as cool as possible in this heat 🔥 we wanted to let you know about a few new products in the store that can help your pet stay safe during these hot days.

Tré Bone is super excited to start carrying , a dog-safe, waterproof sunscreen!! It's free of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide which is often found in human sunscreen (but toxic to pets). We also have a nose balm of theirs that can be used on ears too!

Additionally, we now have Pawtection, a plant-based organic wax that protects your pups paws from hot surfaces and rough terrain. They make a handy-dandy travel size that can easily be packed on your outdoor adventures this summer!

Please stay safe in the heat and make sure you provide access to plenty of shade and water during your summer walks. As always, we have big bowls of fresh water at the shop and would love to say hi if you and your pup need a mid-walk break! 💧😎

Happy June, folks! This beautiful day in St. Johns has us feeling super grateful to be a part of a tight-knit and supportive community that allows us to spend time doing what we love. Getting to know you and your amazing pets is always the highlight of our day and it's been an unforgettable last six months wheelin' and dealin' food and treats for all your cats, dogs, and chickens. We are incredibly excited to promote one of our favorite local race series here in Portland .taborraceseries! We'll be providing pet-themed prizes as well as giving out treats to any pups that come hang out in the park on race days. (Sorry riders the pet treats aren't loaded with carbs! They're just for the dogs)

Something that is incredibly important to us is our ability to participate in our community and support the groups and activities we really love. One of the things that Taylor and Sylvia LOVE in particular is cycling. Taylor races on the local team a group whose mission is to win races and to help grow the bike racing community in Portland by cultivating new racers, racing across disciplines, and helping remove or reduce financial barriers to new riders where possible. Tré Bone is excited to be one of the team's new sponsors helping provide resources to introduce new riders to the sport.

Tabor Series is an incredibly good time and we encourage you to come check it out! Whether that's to watch (of course with your dog!) or participate and give racing a go! Every Wednesday for 8 weeks starting June 3rd riders will be competing for hot laps and podiums racing through the park at Mt. Tabor.

We (especially Huron the cat) are super excited to start carrying at Tré Bone! These cat kicker toys are filled with an organic and non-GMO blend of catnip and valerian root, locally-grown in Washington, and made right here in PDX.
