To be quite honest - it doesn’t feel like there is much traction for a fair trade group or support system for fair trade advocates here in Portland.

As such, I’ve not been motivated to post anything to this account in many months.

So if you’re seeing this and want to see more stuff here, let me know. Otherwise, if it gets to be World Fair Trade Day again come May, then I’ll probably just shut the page down.

Cuz what’s the point if no one is engaging and no one cares?

Hello, Portland Fair Trade supporters! It's time this page became a little more active. Our new page manager, Laura Jean is excited to bring a new infusion of energy and keep the community connected. It would be lovely to hear from all of you about where you see Fair Trade products/events around Portland and where you see opportunities for Fair Trade around Portland.

Friendly faces and fair trade products from the marketplace event on Sunday, October 26th. It was great to meet with so many warm-hearted people who work directly with artisans and practice fair trade with a very hands-on approach.
