In a breathtaking solo effort, Mavi García of Liv AlUla Jayco claimed her first-ever Tour de France Femmes stage win—crossing the line on the Liv Langma Advanced SL.

With 11km to go, Mavi attacked from the break (alongside teammate Silke Smulders đź’Ş) and never looked back.

“I just thought, I have to go all out and we’ll see,” she shared. And she did.

It’s a historic moment for Mavi and the team—their first stage win at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. 🥹

Giant athlete Alan Hatherly has a vision. There are still details to be worked out, but he has a working blueprint. The timeframe is July 2028. The location is Los Angeles, California. The objective is an Olympic gold medal. The path he’s taking is unconventional. Coming off a near-perfect 2024 season, the 29-year-old from South Africa felt it was time to raise his goals and expectations. He had earned an Olympic bronze medal, a rainbow jersey at the World Championships, and the World Cup XCO overall title.

So, what next? With a few years before the next Olympic Games, what’s next is to take on road racing at the sport’s highest level.

A Trail to Zero is Giant's journey to transform cycling into an environmental force for good! 🤝

The goal of becoming "net zero," a state in which greenhouse gases entering the atmosphere are counterbalanced by carbon removal, is challenging. Giant Bicycles has created an ambitious plan with clear steps to follow to meet its goal of reducing 40kg of CO2e from the footprint of each bicycle manufactured by 2030.

It starts with developing eco-friendly bikes, components, and gear using recycled materials and sustainable manufacturing principles. But it goes well beyond just the products they create. They also aim to make operations more eco-friendly, being mindful of energy use, resources, and processes—so that they walk the talk.

This is not a casual ride. It's a daily grind of eco-innovation. And Giant has already begun!
