"If you are looking for American made tack at import prices we are not what you want!" We cater more to the 4-H families who are starting out and need the basics without spending a fortune. We do accept trade-ins on saddles, and offer lay away plans.

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! I have not posted in quite awhile. We are setting up atthe Shipshewana Special Black Friday Sale Livestock Auction at the back Antique Barn. Morning! We are off to the Preble County 4H Swap meet in Eaton. Ohio. Looks like the day is going to be drizzley. You might as well come over and search for things you cannot live without.
For added entertainment there is Junior Rodeo. It is in a covered arena. Come cheer on the kids!

We have been busy! Starting in November with the help of a couple of young ladies, we sorted, purged, cleaned, discovered, rearranged, lost.....lol...'Where did you put that?', and relocated lots of materials and product. The shop, hopefully, will prove to be more productive.
Then, with a new apprentice, we started making new product. We love the creative spark that flows when you get the right combination of minds together!
Another business has been reaching out to us. We finally decided to try what he was offering. Everybody says, 'Go on line!' Truthfully, I don't have time!
So.....you may find items made by us, R & C Tack, on the Old West Outfitters page.
We are looking forward to expanding our leather trophy options. They are a usefull option over dust catching trophies.
So far, you will still find us at most of our usual shows. You can also message or call to set up a time to come to the shop.
Ronnie still does some basic saddle repair, custom gun holsters and knife sheaths. Check out these images. Hope to hear from you!
