The Hobby Smith Model Train Store Welcome to The Hobby Smith, where great customer service is our commitment.

We are a full service model railroad store with a in-store operating layout. Our offerings includes special orders, repairs, DCC installations, consignments, and advice. We offer discounts on Z, N, HO, Marklin & Lionel locomotive and rolling stock orders. Our store has a good selection of books, videos, paints, tools and scenery material. We welcome our customers to join in during operation sessions on our in-store layout (see calendar for schedule).

Saturday, May 30th is the annual junior parade which runs along Sandy, which closes some of the roads around the store. To visit the store that day, you can use NE 33rd Ave to get to NE Broadway or NE Hancock to access the store. Took Saturday off from the store to run my small Z scale layout at sW Washington Model Train Club swap meet. Everything ran well once the mysteriously disconnected power wires were reconnected. It was great to see all of our friends get good deals on train goodies.
