My new berry truffle is haskap berry, sourced from . They taste sweet and tangy, somewhere between a blueberry and a cherry. They were first available at Unique Markets Portland] holiday market a couple weeks ago.

Thank you to photographer .hall for this beautiful picture of my berry truffles and to Unique Markets Portland] for putting this amazing holiday market together!

All berry truffles are vegan, soy free, refined sugar free and gluten free. They are handmade and hand decorated, using only simple ingredients. All berries are directly sourced from local farms.
Your tins are returnable and reusable. Thank you to all who have been returning their tins. I have so many returns I can barely keep up with sanitizing them. A good problem to have!!:)

New! I’m joining this awesome plants pop-up last minute. Plants, accessories and plant-based food & beverages. So exciting!

This is my first time doing two markets at once. And my first time making nearly 100 tins in 2 days, so you can still have all your chocolates made fresh. Wow! Quite a week!!😃

Here is what I do to be sustainable (in my personal life)

It’s Earth Day. Last year at this time I transformed our house completely and made it as sustainable as possible. Today I went around the house and took some pictures to show you what I and my family do every day to be more environmentally friendly.

1. Grow a wildflower garden for the bees!

2. Use a bidet and wipes to reduce toilet paper use (old clothes are great cut up as wipes or get scrap material from a local business like )

3. Buy shampoo, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc in glass jars, in bulk. I love shop. For tooth”paste” I use but you can also make your own.

4. Have a bathroom compost bin for hair and nails.

5. Grow your own food if you have the space

6. Make whatever you can on your own, granola is so easy.

I also make our plant based mylk every morning with . I highly recommend it!! Make sure you use the pulp for something, if nothing else, bake it into flour for later.

7. Buy used! OfferUp worked out for me so well!! I buy and sell anything there.

8. And last but most importantly, BUY LOCAL!!! There are amazing growers and makers in Oregon, explore them. Use farmers markets!! or as resources or Etsy (put Oregon in the filter).

There are so many local shops I love, but I wanted to give a big shoot out here to for the cutest kids clothes!!

This is a fundraiser for Long Do Thai food cart owner who is battling cancer.

We planted wildflower seeds today for our pollinators. We already have some there from last year but still added some more.

If you need some seeds, I have chocolates wrapped in seeded paper. A double win, sweets for bees and humans!;)
