This audio 📣 made me cackle 🤣 I had to.

And if I do see people, I probably just want to talk about flowers 🌸

Sweet pea planting is in full swing on the farm 🌱 The goal is to get the rest of the plants out by the end of this week (much later than I originally planned, but farming depends on the weather 😅).

I can’t wait to see them bloom again 🌸 Soon we’ll be tying up the rows each week and fertilizing.

They’re a lot of work, but so worth it!

Fingers crossed for a good seed season 🤞✨

Taking in a deep breath of spring air 😮‍💨 we’ve mostly made it thru the rainy season and I couldn’t be happier. 💕 I love to forage around our property to find little bits and pieces to add to bouquets. This one features tulips, anemones, horsetail grass and alder tree branches. 💐

Coming up for air after last weekend’s dahlia sale 😅

THANK YOU to everyone who ordered, shared, and supported us! 💕

Every order goes right back into our small family farm — helping us bring in new varieties, experiment in the field, and keep growing.

When I started this dream, we were living in a hot desert where nothing would grow, and I dreamed of beautiful, lush flower fields. Now I can’t believe I’m actually living that dream.

It’s one thing to grow flowers here, but knowing they’ll be growing in your gardens too? What an honor.🥹

We never know where the flower journey will take us, but I’m so grateful it’s led us here. 🫶

Dahlias can be a lot… especially when you’re growing them for tuber production.

Planting, digging, washing, dividing, storing, inspecting, packaging…

And we’ve had our fair share of things go wrong. Rot, voles, weeds… you name it.

And we’re re-doing our field again 👀

But I won’t quit.
They’re just too beautiful. I can’t give them up.

‼️ If you’re growing dahlias this year, here are a few things that make a big difference:

• Good drainage is everything. They won’t do well sitting in wet soil• Focus on building healthy soil (we’re still working on this too)• Feed with nitrogen early on to grow strong plants before they start flowering• Once they start budding, ease off nitrogen so energy goes into flowers• Water deeply once plants are actively growing — shallow watering won’t reach the tubers• Dig them up for winter in zones 6 and colder (some people get away with deep mulch and tarps, but it’s a risk)

👉 I’ll have dahlia tubers available March 21 (this Saturday! )

And save this if you’re growing dahlias this year 🌸
