All these weight loss injections are going to kill a lot of people, just like all the WL drugs before them. then they'll pull everything from shelves and act like nothing happened.. until they put the next deadly weight loss drug out, and the cycle continues.
These things ALWAYS kill people.. because they see fat people as disposable. Who cares if we die? We already paid. Plus, there's plenty more fat people who will risk their lives to lose 20lbs.
The desperate need to do something, anything, so that people treat you with just a little less cruelty is so baked into the average fat experience within fatphobic cultures, it's hard to blame people for taking the bait.
We have to KEEP talking about fat liberation.. We're being flooded with so much horror, it's easy to lose the plot. Remember that community is, and always has been, the solution to fascism.
