When I see folks, they’ve been asking, and I’ve been very quiet on here the past year…Mudge Fudge is on hiatus. Many of you know that I published a cookbook at the end of 2023 and that was my exit plan for the business. Well, the fudge continued a bit past then, I did some amazing holiday markets last year even, and then I was meant to sell at PROMSI but the ice storm moved the date and I had to have help from friends cover for it since I was out of town for grad school. And then that was my last market! I haven’t done any since 💔
I started an MBA/MPA program in January and am wrapping up my second semester of five now…it’s been a lot of work! Mudge and I are also keeping ourselves busy planning a wedding for next summer 💍 my fiancé’s birthday is even on National Fudge Day! Crazy how the world works!
Anyway, this is the end of Mudge Fudge for now. Cookbooks are available as PDF versions on the website or we have a handful of physical copies left as well. You might still stumble into some Mudge Fudge if you buy a home or know me personally, but it’s unlikely to see me as a vendor at any markets.
That being said, I’ve enjoyed stepping back as a vendor and instead having the chance to go shop markets and support my vendor friends!! Being a small business owner in this community seriously is the best. I’ve made so many friends, tried so many new products, gotten so much cool art, and just cannot thank the market community enough for the experiences we’ve shared 💛
Thank you to all the customers over the years too! The friendly familiar faces you’ve all become! Thanks for supporting Mudge Fudge 🫶
If you’re missing Mudge Fudge this season, head over to our website and get yourself a cookbook to make some fudge for your friends and family. So much love to you all!!!!
