I've spent the morning listening to and learning about Sara Davis Buechner (a prominent trans musician and Yamaha Pianos artist) and her significance in the world of piano. I strongly suggest taking a moment to give her a listen and if you have more time, to check out her one woman show - "Of Pigs and Pianos".

Happy Black History Month! This year marks 100 years of celebrating black culture and influence. I could have filled many more tables with incredible black musicians.

100 years in the grand scheme of things is not many, and it is important to protect this month and continue to celebrate the black community - not just in February, but always.
