Today was awesome!!

I do want to say thank you to all our Chatter Box customers! We know you can't be here every day we are open, that you can't always buy treasures, coffee, ice cream or baked goods. It is just a comfort to know that we are here for each other. Isn't that what life is all about? Sometimes we need a place to "just be." Thank you for supporting MY place to "just be" 😊

Those 1st Summit Bank ladies were a hoot today, almost buying me out of jewelry jars!! Thank you so much for your support!😍

We will be open our regular hours this weekend.
Next Friday, June 12, will start our extended summer hours (Fridays till 7pm)

Chatter Box will be having a pop-up sale this Thursday June 4th 1pm-7pm !!!!

Somehow, I have accumulated an abundance of really great treasures, and I can't wait to get them all out to sell!!
I have decided to keep a bedroom set, which means our spare bedroom is getting a complete make over, which means it will no longer be used as a storage room!! So, you all know what that means.......more treasures to sell!😁
We will be making up "Surprise boxes". My customers seem to think they know me pretty well.....now we are going to see how well I know my Chatter Box customers!😍
It's going to be a fun time! Bob is away through Wednesday, he doesn't know he's going to be part of the fun yet!🤣 How many milkshakes can a man make during a Chatter Box sale?🤔😆 As long as you can sip it through a straw, right?😆

This will be the first of many "storage" sales, so if you can't make this one there will be plenty more!
Rest assured, a good amount of the money made will go back into our Chatter Box Community! Wonder what we can do next? I'm sure if we pull together, we can do anything!! How exciting!!

I have been rolling my thoughts around in my head, trying to simplify what I would like to say.....

I'm always saying our customers are "the cream of the crop." So loving, kind and thoughtful! What is so wonderful about planning a Chatter Box event is that we get to bring the "Cream of the crop" together. That is what makes it so special!

Everyone who comes in is a truly wonderful person in your own way!

I was asked if I have ever regretted opening Chatter Box. NOT ON MY LIFE! What I was upset about, was losing my vision of my Chatter Box for a bit. The "Cream of the crop" was right there, making sure to bring my vision back (whether you knew it or not!) If you didn't get a hug over the weekend, be sure to come in for one! I have an abundance🥰

Todays update (Saturday May 23)

Chatter Box will stay open regular hours (8am-4pm) Counter will be open for drinks 1-4pm

Our complementary surprise memory food will be chili! Available for eating while enjoying the music! Jim Koban will be a solo act inside the CB, starting at 1pm. J&J music will play the Chatter Dome at a later date!

Let's get together and make some rainy-day Chatter Box memories!!

And don't forget the cake!!

We did add on the "Potluck" for each day. I got a bit worried that the food we are providing may not be enough. Bringing something is optional. It is most important to just bring yourself!! And maybe a chair, so you can relax and stay awhile!

I did pick up a book so people can sign their name. We also have a board and note cards for people to write about their favorite Chatter Box memory and we have pictures! Oh, do we have pictures! You want to talk about memories!! If you have any of your own pictures, please bring them!!

Can't wait to be with all our Chatter Box friends!

Weather permitting, events will be held at the park across the street. In the event of rain, celebrating will be moved inside the Chatter Box.

I am here with, hopefully, the last update for our Memorial Day Weekend Celebration!

As I was in my kitchen making gobs, I was thinking about what all we had going on. I thought, you know what? I think Bob and Bonnie should also be enjoying the festivities across the street all weekend!

So, Chatter Box will close at 1pm, Saturday and Sunday. Whatever surprise food we choose to offer will be available outside in our park starting at 1:30. We are not sure what size of a crowd we will have, so if anyone would want to bring a "pot luck " item, it would be appreciated!

Don't forget to bring a chair! An easy-up may not be a bad idea if you would like a little shade.

I will repost an updated schedule in the next day or two. Don't forget open mic was added on Monday at 3:00!
