🚨 CONFESSION TIME 🚨

I love going to church.

Matter of fact, I'll be 59 years old in a few, and the older I get, the more I realize I need God, not less.

Lately, there's been a sense of urgency in my heart to be mindful of the Fruits of the Spirit and put on the whole Armor of God.

Now here's the funny part...

For the last TWO MONTHS I've been saying:

"I'm going to church Sunday."

Then Sunday comes...

"I'll go next Sunday."

Next Sunday comes...

"I'll definitely be there next week."

Well, after two months of spiritual planning, motivational speeches to myself, and enough excuses to write a book...

I'm finally taking a shower and getting ready to GO! 😂

At this point, the pastor probably has my picture on a milk carton.

MISSING SINCE EASTER.

Last seen:
✅ Posting Bible verses on Facebook
✅ Watching church online in pajamas
✅ Saying, "I'll be there next Sunday"

But today is the day.

Because faith isn't just something we talk about...
Sometimes you've got to get out of the house, shake a few hands, hear a Word, and sit on a church pew.

If you haven't been in a while, don't worry.

The church isn't a museum for perfect people.

It's a hospital for the rest of us.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to finish getting dressed before I talk myself out of it again. 😂🙏🏾

🔥 THE CHURCH ISN'T A BUILDING... IT'S IN YOU. 🔥

Some people go to church every Sunday.

Some people watch church online.

Some people are sitting at home right now trying to figure life out one day at a time.

But here's what I'm learning...

The most important church isn't the building you walk into.

It's the faith you carry inside of you.

Now don't get me wrong—I believe gathering together is important. We need fellowship, encouragement, and people who will pray with us and walk beside us.

But whether you're sitting in a pew or sitting on your couch...

God can still meet you right where you are.

Jesus said if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains.

Think about that.

A mustard seed is one of the tiniest seeds you'll ever see.

Yet it grows into something far bigger than itself.

That's how faith works.

You don't need giant faith.

You don't need all the answers.

You don't need to have your life completely figured out.

You just need enough faith to take the next step.

Enough faith to pray one more prayer.

Enough faith to believe one more day.

Enough faith to keep going when everything around you says quit.

I've learned that faith and focus work together.

Faith helps you see what isn't there yet.

Focus helps you keep moving until it arrives.

So whether you're in a church building, watching online, or spending a quiet moment with God by yourself today...

Protect that mustard seed.

Water it.

Feed it.

Believe in it.

Because what looks small today may become the very thing that changes your life tomorrow.

I'm learning that forgiveness doesn't just start with other people... it starts with me.

For years, I carried mistakes, regrets, missed opportunities, and things I couldn't change. But I've realized something powerful:

✅ I can't change yesterday.
✅ I can't control everyone else.

SEASONS & TIME…

I’m 58 now… and the word that keeps coming to me lately is grateful.

As I watch friends and family pass away, it changes how you see everything. It makes you slow down and really ask yourself — What do I believe? What am I doing with the time I have left? Life doesn’t feel endless anymore. It feels real… it feels precious.

Some days, I’ll be honest, it’s physical just getting out of bed. The body moves different when you’ve lived some life. But even in that, I’m learning something deeper — maybe this season isn’t about running fast anymore… maybe it’s about learning to trust.

Trust God.
Trust the process.
Trust that every breath still has purpose.

We all know there’s an end date coming one day. None of us knows when. And maybe that’s the point — to live awake, to live aware, to stop waiting for the “perfect time” that never really comes.

It went by fast… faster than I ever imagined. I blinked and somehow it’s 2026 and I’m standing here just saying, “Wow… thank you for another day.”

If you’re reading this, just pause for a second today.
Call someone you love.
Forgive somebody.
Start something you’ve been putting off.
And don’t let the weight of yesterday steal the gift of right now.

This season of my life isn’t about fear — it’s about gratitude, reflection, and faith stronger than ever.
