Easy to make, fun to share, and guaranteed to be a crowd favorite. Recipe below! ⬇️
Dot Cakes
• 15.25 oz box white cake mix
• 1 cup POLL-FABAIRE CRÉMANT Brut
• 3 eggs
• ½ cup vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, whisk together the cake mix, sparkling wine, eggs, and oil. Fill containers about two-thirds full with batter. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
CRÉMANT Frosting
• ¾ cup POLL-FABAIRE CRÉMANT Brut, reduced to ¼ cup
• 2 sticks butter, room temperature
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Bring the CRÉMANT to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce to a simmer and cook until reduced to ¼ cup, about 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
Using a mixer, beat the butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar one cup at a time. Once creamy, mix in the vanilla extract, 3 tablespoons of the reduced CRÉMANT (add more if needed) until smooth and creamy.
Frost the dot cakes and top with red, white, and blue sprinkles. Enjoy!
