Hello to all who make The Candle Store Community!
I have some big news!
Firstly, I wish to express my appreciation to all of you who have supported this store, Ruthy, and myself. I had such a wonderful and wholesome experience taking the torch from Ruthy and continuing on her hard work as the owner of Ruthy’s Candle Store.
It wouldn’t have been such a warm, beautiful, and loving atmosphere without all of you who made up Ruthy’s community, and I thank you for that.
Secondly, I am giving my resignation as Ruthy’s Candle Store owner, and what that means going forward.
Without too much detail, there had been some discrepancies between Phillip and I, and after much consideration I had decided that it would be better for myself emotionally and financially to resign, and move on to the next chapter of my life to Tacoma.
However, with all endings give new beginnings!
This new phase begins with that of my dear friends, Elysia and Jordan, who are taking the torch and shining new light and vision with their own candle store, The Chandlery.
It will be located in the same lovable Undertown space, with a similar warm and caring energy that Ruthy had developed with the help of all of you over the years.
Elysia is an experienced candle maker, who uses her extensive knowledge to create candles with delicious scent profiles that she makes from scratch. Jordan is a crafstman who hails from the Highlands of Scotland, and gains inspiration for his works from the great PNW. They will also be continuing in stocking a lot of the product that Ruthy had carefully curated over the years, and adding new product to give you all fresh options.
Both of them are beautiful, kind and hilarious people, who I encourage all to go and meet.
