Waldo returns to Port Orchard this July! 🕵️‍♀️

For the entire month of July, Waldo will be hiding in 25 different locations across downtown Port Orchard. Pick up a passport from Salmonberry Books and start your search!

If you find 10 Waldos, you can return to Salmonberry Books for a poster and a coupon for $1 off a Waldo book.

If you find 20 Waldos, you can turn your passport in to Salmonberry Books to be entered to win a grand prize. (And if you find all 25 Waldos, you get bragging rights and a high-five!)

Then on July 31, join us in the for a Waldo celebration! We'll have treats, Waldo-themed activities, and we'll be picking the raffle winners. We want to see how many people we can get to come dressed as Waldo, so we're offering 10% off your purchase at Salmonberry Books on July 31 to anyone who comes in costume!

So mark your calendars and come join us on the search this July!

Gather up the books you're done with, because it's time for another book swap!

Join us next Friday, June 12th, from 6-8 pm at for an evening of food, drinks, books, and excellent vibes.

How it works:
- Bring 1-5 good quality books that you're willing to give away.
- We're focused on contemporary young adult or adult fiction and non-fiction books.
- Meet us at Holy Water. Fingers crossed that we can enjoy the beautiful courtyard for this swap!
- The event is free, but we encourage everyone to purchase drinks and food from our generous host Holy Water!
- Choose 1-5 new-to-you books from what the other attendees have shared.

Things to know:
- Holy Water is 21+.
- Any leftover books will be donated to the Port Orchard Friends of the Library and the Washington State Library.
-We'll be closing the bookshop an hour early on this day to be at the swap, so come and buy your books before 6pm, and then meet us at Holy Water!

Join us on Sunday, June 14th, from 1-3pm, to work on a project, find inspiration for something new, or get help from a fellow crafter. Whether you're working on knitting, crochet, embroidery, macrame, felting, or any other fiber arts project, this afternoon is for you.

The group will be gathered in the common area of the Port Orchard Marketplace, and we hope to see you there!
