As we get very close to reopening The Moon, there’s something that’s really important to me that I want to put out there: YOUR PRIVACY.

Like any business with inventory to protect, I have security cameras. Inside, outside, EVERYWHERE.

Let me tell you — these cameras are some creepy little fu@kers. 😂

They can zoom, track movement, follow you around, pick up sound…If you break into The Moon, smile, because I promise you, Big Brother has NOTHING on me. 😂

But during business hours? I’ve made a decision. The interior cameras will be turned toward the wall and sound turned off.

Maybe someday I’ll regret that.
But for now, I don’t want that kind of intrusion between me and the people who walk through my doors.

When you’re at The Moon, I want you to be able to relax. Browse. Laugh with your friends. Try on something ridiculous. Decide you hate it. Find something you LOVE. Have a drink. Stay awhile. There is no pressure here. My only rule has always been: if you buy it, you have to love it.

That same respect goes beyond the cameras.

If you message me on Facebook or Instagram, call or text me, tell me your size, ask me to find something for you, place an order, tell me what you’re looking for, what you bought, what you spent - or simply walk through my door - that’s your business. Not mine to share.

I’m not going to announce that you were here. I’m not going to tell somebody what size you wear or what you spent. I’m not going to stick a camera in your face and ask you to pose for Facebook.

If you want to tell the world you found something fabulous at Morris Moon Mercantile I will absolutely love you for it. But that choice belongs to you.

I don’t care who you are, what you do, who you know, or how much money you have. Everybody who walks through that door gets the same welcome, the same respect, and the same privacy.

After hours, though? Don’t even try me. Those cameras are coming off the wall and those creepy little fu@kers are going back to work! As I type this, I’m trying to figure out how to convince them NOT to call the cops on my mannequin. 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you Mark Quirk!!

Mark is not only great at keeping up with my lawn care; he and his team are creating an AWESOME faux pond for Lady Luna to come home to Morris Moon Mercantile! In the home stretch!

It was FINALLY dry enough to get some paint on!

Can’t wait to get the Lady herself back home!

Three things- well 4…

1st - Hi!!

2nd - The load in begins…

3rd - People ask WHEN I’m FINALLY gonna reopen. It’s things like this. I went to hang stuff and decided that I need new hangers. I LOVE these American Duke shirts and these hangers are crap…So I’m gonna get wood hangers. 🤣

4th - When you come in, notice the “craters” in the moon in the Sheetrock! Side note: I am gonna HAVE to make The Moon work cause nobody else is gonna want craters everywhere in their business. 😂

5th. - (so I guess it’s five things) See you all soon, I hope, cause imma need to make some money to pay for my remodel. 😂😂😂

Hi there, POC!!

As I get much closer to my reopening, I want to bring you along to where it was to where we started.

In my head I know the building I bought vs where I am now - but seeing now is like - OMG… 😂😂😂

So…In the photo; WAS Morris Moon Mercantile when I bought the property from the Krause’s ( who are FAB)! Imma be honest, if it were not for Karen, I probs would not own the property today. She was so sweet to me. 🥰
