A friend of mine has wanted a Savage 99 in 300 Savage his whole life. I just got this rifle in on trade so I dressed it up for him. I spent hours jeweling the bolt. I think he is going to love it.

The 416 Rigby did the job. On the fifth day of the hunt I spotted this guy at 1000 yards. I closed the distance to 250 yards and made the off hand shot. He sure is not what I was looking for but he was only the second moose I’d seen all week. The first one was a cow.
