I haven’t sewn a garment in sooo long. So I jumped back in with the from . The outer fabric is a black linen and the inside is Minky Fabric from in fairy flakes. This is like wearing a blanket and I love it! I made some fabric covered buttons with some cotton fairy flakes.
I tried some new techniques in this, but notably the bound button holes. Which reminded me a bit of a recessed zipper in a bag so it wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought it would be.

Check out this Heart + Crown Quilt out in the wild! This is your throw size 60 x 72. Made with Tula Pink Solids. This version is half yard friendly and is great if you’d like to feature a small line with some pretty awesome background fabrics. Pattern drops on August 1st.

I just realized I never shared the finished version of this quilt! 🤦🏻‍♀️ it is the most cozy quilt ever!! I’ll have to try and get an awesome shot of this in the next snow.
