Thank you for a wonderful decade!
The amount of love and support that was shown to us over the last month has been overwhelming!
For the last 10 years we have been able to pursue our dream thanks to the love and support of thousands of customers. We have hundreds of reviews to remind us of all of the amazing people that we have met through the years. Every one of these reviews were important to us, and they made a great impact on us and each of our stores. Rather than picking out our favorites, we chose to share screenshots of all of them, because all of them matter to us.

We are so incredibly grateful for the opportunity that your support made possible. Thank you for sticking with us through our journey, starting from scratch with The Wyld & The Wyrd, through the family hardships that we faced when we were NuminA, our epic comeback as AWEN after surviving the Covid shutdown, and through this final stage of our growth as MoonGate Metaphysical.
We would like to thank Paws, Awes & Claws animal rescue (especially Mike, Courtney, and Lauren) for teaming up with us to help find homes for 127 cats and 20 dogs in just 23 months!!! Eevee is getting adopted on Sunday, and we couldn't be happier!!! Thank you to all of the volunteers (Emric, Angela, Oliver, Lucia) that helped care for the cats, all of the visitors that helped socialize them, the donors that contributed valuable supplies and monetary support, and the adopters that opened their hearts and homes to furry new family members!
We need to thank all of our incredible landlords (Bill, Leo & Dan Deligianis, Ed Peterson, Tom Blount, and Winfield Cooper) for their understanding and helpfulness, We would also like to thank all of our former Tarot Readers (Gin, Jen, Randy, Dylan, Jamie, Elsbeth, Helena and Autumn) for providing readings while Jen was busy running the store, our former helpers (Geneva, Tawnya, Erika, Jay and Nola) for covering when we needed help, Deb Wright for the Tarot meet-ups that helped get TW&TW rolling, Paula and Tammy for their Breathwork and Sound Healing at MGM, the local artists and crafters (especially Lorissa, Jen, and numerous others) for the unique items at each of our stores, and all of the friends (Joe, Hunter, Dave, Andy, Emily, Cindy and others) that helped us during our moves.
We even want to thank the unsupportive, negative and toxic people that we had to deal with at various times. We grew and thrived as much in spite of the challenges that they presented as we did from the genuine positive support that we received from our true friends. Some of them even belonged to both groups at different times. Lessons learned, and we emerged stronger for the experiences.
Paws, Awes & Claws will be continuing on with the cat adoption center. There will be a transition period between our closing and when they re-open, so keep an eye on their FB page for details. They have lots of plans to expand into the whole building and grow their operations. Exciting things ahead!
Many customers have asked us where they should shop for their crystals and metaphysical supplies. First, we strongly recommend supporting independent businesses like ours. If you want the in-person experience then you need to support it. Unfortunately, there are no stores close to Port Huron that we are comfortable recommending. Though it may be a road trip, we would highly recommend Crystal Treasures near the Great Lakes Crossing mall. Marie has been running that store for 30 years now, and is the most ethical store owner that we know. Her store has a great vibe, and all of her items are authentic and fairly priced. Another alternative that we support is The Crystal Cauldron near Rochester.
We will keep this FB page open so that we can post updates. We will be taking a break from business for a while. We are selling our home and moving from the area. We have no time table or specific destination in mind. We will let you know where we settle in, and if we decide to create another metaphysical sanctuary. Until then, “Live long and prosper!”
