As a child, I loved musical theater….But I was so emotional that I’d cry during every audition. Somewhere along the way, I convinced myself I could never really sing, and I slowly stopped using my voice.
As I got older, whenever I tried to sing, it would actually hurt. I could never fully open up, so I accepted the lie that this part of me just wasn’t meant to be.
Today, I’m choosing to face that childhood fear.
This isn’t about singing or painting. It’s about freedom.
My testimony is that our creator has a beautiful way of restoring the things fear convinces us we’ve lost. When we surrender and allow God’s path to unfold… He often gives us the courage to become who He created us to be.
So what dream have you buried because fear told you it wasn’t for you?
Maybe today is the day to believe again. #
