When your best, longest friends show up at your class to surprise you! Y’all, I am floored and blown away. I felt so lucky and SO loved seeing these four beautiful faces walk into my class. Thank you, for helping to pull this off. We sewed, and laughed, and then got takeout, talked, and laughed some more. My heart is so full. It was everything I needed! I love you, bubs (😉) and always will. ❤️

It is so fun and rewarding to try something new and have it work out. I’ve been enamored with *reverse* appliqué for months now. But if I’m being honest,traditional appliqué had me a liiiiiittle intimidated. I gave it a try, and I LOVED it! It practically turns any fabric into a sticker. I can think of lots of new ways to use this. New obsession unlocked!!

Sometimes it’s fun to work on a personal project, just for fun!! A couple of weeks ago, my eleven-year-old and I went and saw Conan Gray at the Fishers Event Center. 🤩🫶 If you look at me wrong, I overheat (thank you ). I found d this loose, short sleeved sweatshirt at Target and knew it was perfect for dancing and singing along. I added some decorative elements with my favorite, tried-and-true technique, and violà!! The checkered fabric was subtle, but had an every other sheer/solid effect. Love!! ❤️

It brings me *pure* joy to see finished projects by people who have attended my classes! It’s a real proud mama, stick it on the fridge moment. The woman in the first photo finished her sweatshirt, came back to and purchased a finished sweatshirt for one of her daughters, and **then** returned for kits because her remaining two daughters were interested in learning as well! 🥰😍 It feels so good to see a new skill continuing to be shared. ☺️ 🧵 🪡
