On this day in 1944 we took the fight to the Axis powers and stormed into Fortress Europe. Please take a minute to honor all of those brave souls who left the craft to make the world safe for you and I. Some never made it to the beach, some never left the beach, others got to share their stories and write history. Never forget the price paid for you to share the freedoms and life you have today. I end with earn it, earn that sacrifice, leave this world a better place then when you entered it and it can be as simple as a smile or simple hello. No matter where we lie in certain arenas in this lovely country one thing will always be a fact WE ARE ALL AMERICANS and I will fight for that and YOU. We can have discourse and that's fine but we need to bring that Patriotism full circle, we need leaders who aren't afraid to say and I quote “Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.” Lets keep this the best country and show the world why we are!
