Friends and family of the Point,
Point Roberts has always been a unique symbol of friendship between the United States and Canada—a place where neighbors share more than just a border.
With the recent tensions between our countries, we’ve felt the impact firsthand. We’ve received messages ranging from heartfelt apologies from our Canadian friends to, unfortunately, some hurtful words from others. Please know that we hear you, we see you, and we truly feel the weight of what’s happening.
To our Canadian neighbors: We understand the immense pressure you are under and the difficult choices many of you are facing. We do not place blame or hold any resentment. Your kindness and support have been the lifeblood of our business and community, and we are deeply grateful.
Like many small businesses, we are feeling the ripple effects of these changes. Our vendors have raised prices, and we’ve had to adjust within our store. While our situation may be evolving, our focus remains on doing the best we can for our community through it all.
Point Roberts embodies the spirit of friendship, and we are committed to honoring that legacy, wherever the future may take us. Thank you for your understanding, support, and kindness as we navigate these uncertain times together.
