Causeacon 2026 is wrapped! Such a fun weekend of vending, getting to share our Cryptid Roads goodies, and seeing some of my favorite people all in one place. 🖤
(This year's theme was pirate, and I could never pass up the opportunity to wear my tricorn hat! haha)
One of my favorite parts of events like this is not just setting up the booth and sharing our stuff, but also being surrounded by so many talented and creative people! I've gotta do a few shoutouts of appreciation for y'all. 💙
I got to vend beside my best friend of literally 15 years, Sheena, with her husband Jake. They recently started Iris Divine Photography, where they capture high-definition photos of people’s eyes. They create cool keepsakes like necklaces, keychains, and photo prints, which is cool as heck. Sheena Pendley Design & Photography is also one of the best photographers around West Virginia, and I’m so glad to know her and call her my best friend.
It was great seeing JD... the Creepalachia himself! I’m proud to know this guy and I'm always excited to participate in whatever wild and creative projects he throws my way, especially all the original artwork he’s collected from me over the years!
Joe and Ronni of The Dungeon Rose, who make beautiful handcrafted dice, nerdy things, and all kinds of cryptid and Appalachian goodies. Their new cryptid dioramas are seriously the neatest idea ever! I want all of them!
George and Sherry of Wild & Untamed Things, who make artisanal 3D prints with beautiful hand painted details. I love their fidgets so much, and I fully admit I bug them by rearranging all their cool fidgety gadgets every single time I stop by their booth. 😂
A special shoutout to Mischief's Den and their lil cryptid Peril, an absolutely adorable gecko. 🖤
I also got to spend the weekend with my mom, Kristi Suptic, which made it even sweeter and I'm so thankful to have her by my side for all of these things. She's the truest MVP. 💙
I appreciate everyone who participated in my wild selfie shenanigans and made this weekend an absolute blast! Thanks to all my friends and family who came out to see us! Here's to next year!
