NFA UPDATE
August 13, 2026
Due to the current lack of formal guidance from our IOI at the ATF, and based on the advice of our legal team, Bishops Gun Barn will continue conducting business as usual regarding suppressors, SBRs, and other NFA items.
For the time being, we will continue processing these transactions using the Form 4 process.
However, until we receive clear guidance confirming the proper procedure, we are not going to speculate or put our customers, employees, or business at unnecessary risk.
Our responsibility is to do this correctly.
As soon as we receive definitive guidance from the ATF and our legal counsel, we will immediately update our customers and adjust our process accordingly.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. We’re excited about what these changes could mean for the industry, and nobody wants a faster, simpler process more than us.
