A REQUEST
Please be kind to someone today.

This past Monday a young man asked me, through the open door, whether he could use our bathroom. Clean-cut, neatly dressed and very polite, he was in dire need of one.

Thinking of all the messes left before when I had allowed a "pop-in" to use our facilities, I said no. Assuming he was from out of town, I directed him to the fast food restaurants instead. Ouch.

I wish I had that moment to do over. I've been in that position, as have most of us. I blew a chance to treat another as I would want someone to treat me. I am ashamed.

In between all the usual posts about new products and such, I intend from now on to also share with you acts of kindness I witness, learn about or experience firsthand.
