I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas! Some of y’all have definitely been generous and gifted your friends and family with some awesome fi****ms and shooting gear, and we love to see that.

January starts our 14th year in business, and although some major changes have taken place over the past year with us at ATA, we appreciate every one of you for your continued support.

Enjoy your Christmas and New Year’s with your friends and family. We’ll be closed to do the same December 25-26 and January 1-2, but I personally cannot wait for another great year ahead.

Evening everyone! So far everything has been going well with the new hours. I thank all of you for your patience for delayed deliveries, and we’ve yet to have anything returned to sender.

I should have gotten this to y’all earlier, but I am not going to be available for transfers this Thursday through Sunday, March 20-23. I’ll still be available to receive, but with work events and then some good friends coming into town this weekend, I’ll be booked solid. I’ll extend hours next weekdays from 5:30p-9:00p to make up for that closure.

New business hours have been updated. Weekdays I'll be trying to make 6pm-8pm work Tuesday through Friday and Saturday and Sunday I'll be available 10am-5pm.

I'll still be doing business by appointment only, because my new weekday job does require some localized traveling, but these will generally be when I'll be available to conduct transfers.

Good afternoon, everyone! I have a pretty major announcement that is going to impact business as it is currently run, so hold onto your butts.

As many of you already know, thanks to the state of the gun industry and the economy in general, I've taken a full time position as an EMS Liaison for a local hospital, and I am officially starting Monday, January 20, 2025. As it's not a full in-hospital job and I'll be having to travel around the local area for work, this is going to result in me not being able to have full-time weekday hours.

That means all transfers and sales will be done on a by-appointment basis. But I will be available on the weekends now for transfers, so that should alleviate some of that inconvenience. It will also mean that some deliveries might be delayed if I'm not here to receive them. If I do miss a delivery though, I'll arrange a new time with the shipper to be sure that I will be available to receive your package.

I know this isn't ideal for a lot of you, especially after nearly 13 years of having regular availability. If you would prefer to go through a different FFL, I completely understand and will be more than happy to help you find a new one.

I just started my 13th year running this show, and I wish I could make this my only full time job. But sadly the nature of the business isn't allowing that, so I'm having to scale it back to part time.

Texas Snowpocalypse 2025 update:

Yes, I'll be here and open for business Thursday, January 9, and Friday, January 10. As the weather is forecasted to get worse and worse throughout the day/night Thursday and then stay cold enough for little melting on Friday, I have no clue if we will see any deliveries made either of those days.

But if we do have orders arrive and you don't want to risk heading our way to pick them up (I wouldn't), I have no problem keeping everything in the safe until the melting starts on Saturday and the roads start to clear out from the potential 5-10 inches of winter precipitation we're forecasted to get.

Oof! Working two full time jobs has definitely taken its toll on my brain, because I completely forgot that Thanksgiving is next week and I haven’t let y’all know our holiday hours. Sorry! Without further ado:

Wednesday November 27: 9am-1pm
Thursday November 28: CLOSED
Friday November 29: CLOSED

Tuesday December 24: 9am-noon
Wednesday December 25: CLOSED
Thursday December 26: CLOSED
Friday December 27: 9am-1pm
Tuesday December 31: 9am-1pm
Wednesday January 1: CLOSED

Because Christmas falls on a Tuesday, the last day we can guarantee special order purchases to arrive before Monday is if you make your purchase from us by Thursday, December 19. Orders placed Friday might make it in time, but if there is something you want to order from us for yourself or your loved one and we have to get it from our distributors, I would definitely order before the 19th.

Morning everyone. Just wanted to send a quick note out there to let everyone know that we will be having some sporadic hours for the next ten days. I take the MCAT on Friday, August 23, and it’s study crunch time. Rest assured your deliveries will still make it here without issue, but if you can’t get a hold of me, it’s because I’m in a study hole.

We’ll also be closed Friday, August 23, all day so I can take that absolute bastard of a test.

I’ll reach out to every one of you when your orders arrive to schedule times to come pick them up like usual, but communication otherwise might be sporadic.

Morning all! Just a quick note for this week, as the Fourth of July is rapidly approaching. We’ll be closed the fourth and fifth for the holiday, as I’ve worked about the last 32 days in a row and need a break, even though I’ll be working the ER that weekend.

We’ll be back open for normal business hours Tuesday the ninth. And don’t worry if you have deliveries scheduled for the fifth, as I’ll still be here to accept them and to ship outgoing purchases. We just won’t be open for customer transfers and local sales.

Good Friday afternoon, everyone! Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on something that has happened recently. GunBroker recently did a large site maintenance that has caused a listing issue with our account where we get a repetitive error message any time we try to list anything for sale.

Evening all! We’ve had a few people reach out it lately to ask why we weren’t posting any of the cool stuff we were getting in lately, and the answer is very simple.

I am. Facebook’s new AI system is removing posts from gun dealers that aren’t manufacturers and restricting our accounts for every “violation,” even though we are a federally licensed fi****ms dealer.

So the good old days of show and tell are over, even if we just want to display a very cool thing that isn’t even for sale.

All our awesome stuff can be seen on our GunBroker page, which I’ll link below, but until they change their overly aggressive algorithm, which I doubt will happen ever, our page will be informational only.

Sorry! I would’ve posted this sooner, but I just got our account out of jail for daring to post a picture of a rifle I did some customization on that wasn’t even for sale.
