Lavender season arrives like a whirlwind—fast, beautiful, and far too short. 💜
Once the summer heat settles in, our lavender seems to bloom overnight. Buds become breathtaking fields of purple, and we kick the harvest into high gear. It's a season of early mornings, tired hands, grateful hearts, and the beautiful chaos of living the dream we've worked so hard to create.
We try to pause often and soak it all in because this little piece of heaven is more magical when it's shared with others.
One of the blessings this season was welcoming the Monday Masters Art Group, from Brave Art Studios and Gallery, to spend the morning painting among the lavender. Watching these incredibly talented plein air artists begin with a blank canvas and transform it into breathtaking scenes of our dream farm was nothing short of magical.
As stunning as the artwork was, the people behind each painting were even more beautiful. Their kindness, creativity, laughter, and appreciation reminded us exactly why we built this farm in the first place.
Our hope has always been that this lavender farm would be more than a destination—that it would become a place where people find connection, community, peace, and joy. A place where hearts feel a little lighter when they leave than when they arrived.
To the Monday Masters and everyone at Brave Art Studios & Gallery: thank you for sharing your extraordinary gifts, your joyful spirits, and your love of art with us. You didn't just capture our lavender fields—you captured the heart of our dream.
A special shout out goes to Theresa Frank of Theresa Frank Art. She painted our field then gifted us her painting. She doesn’t know this until now but it was the first “official” picture we have ever had of the farm. The artwork is absolutely beautiful, the kindness of the gift was incredibly sweet and it is a piece we will forever cherish!!
