Recently had this killer Carvin guitar in the shop for a fresh set-up. Originally owned by Alan Holdsworth! It was gifted to a young man who worked at a restaurant that Holdsworth had played and they became friends over time. Very very hounered to have this guitar walk through our door! We are definitely fortunate for all of our customers that have and continue to keep us busy doing what we love! Looking forward to what other instruments will find there way here and the story’s they will hold.

This guitar was originally purchased at The Country Manor Music store in plainwell! Brought to us here at embers for repair to bring it back to full playability. We absolutely loved fixing up this guitar in our shop located in the old standard station downtown! Nice to see business being kept local for all these years!

Pictures On the tail end of the repair on this early 60’s Gibson j-40 heritage. Now it’s back to its owner and we are told “has never played as well or sounded so good!”

In for repair, kind of an odd ball. Gibson sg200 w/ the “chainsaw” case. We were told it has sat like this in unplayable condition for about 20 years. We love our customers!!

This Gibson heritage custom walked in the shop the other day. It’s been beat up pretty good. We’ll make sure it gets back to full playability! We’ve repaired a lot of 70’s Gibson acoustics lately. If you have one in this condition hiding at home, bring it in! We can massage out the issues and make it play better than ever!
