Mason jars are fun to incorporate into any home decor. I change them with the seasons by filling them with items such as ornaments at Christmastime, Easter eggs in the spring, and artificial flowers in the summer.

I found this pretty painting of Tuscany, one summer, at a Jersey shore gallery. I painted the frame white and distressed it with sand paper. It makes a nice addition to my shabby chic guest room.
