IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
FROM EARTH WEAR ROCK SHOP
It has been a privilege to be a small business owner for almost 8 years on Main St. downtown Plainfield. On October 9, 2018, I opened Earth Wear at that time, I only had two shelves of Rocks and they soon took over. I have met so many wonderful humans along the way here on Main Street, knowing that my store has always been a comfortable and safe haven to be has been an honor. It does bring me sadness to announce that this building has been sold, and unfortunately, the owner has other plans that don’t include my small business.
But not to fear! Many of you may know that months ago, I opened the second location at 204 N. Mill St. inside Patti's Mall-. It’s a great place to be with many local vendors. Pattie has been kind enough to allow me to take up her back room, office and the back end of her store, and i will be moving business operations there. I’m sure there will be a bit of a learning curve, but we will all get through it together! Luckily, our friends at Als donuts are still under a lease and will remain for the time being. With that being said, my last day of business here on Main Street will be Saturday, June 20th. More details to come. This day will be a day of celebration, giveaways, sweet treats, chalk on the sidewalk, and cheers to almost 8 years! Please know how much so many of you mean to me - your children watching them grow, your excitement, getting to know you in so many ways. I will miss my window to the world across Highway 40, but with change comes so many opportunities. Thank you all for the many years of friendship and support at this location, It truly does mean the world to me. On to new adventures! The forecast is looking up, the rain is expected to clear out a couple hours before Market time, and honestly… 61° sounds pretty perfect for strolling the sidewalks with a coffee (or iced beverage, after all, 60's in Indiana isn't that cold!), fresh baked goodies, and shopping local. 😉

Our vendors will be ready, the music will be awesome, the petting zoo and activities will be waiting — and we can’t wait to kick off another amazing season with you tonight from 4–7 PM at the Plainfield Friends Church!
