Father and son duo, Rod and Mike Pedersen, have always loved diving, so they decided to share that passion with their Plainfield-area community and opened Dive Right In Scuba. Since we opened in 2006, our shop’s grown to offer gear retail and repair, diving classes, and scuba trips to Lake Michigan. We have everything you need to get started on a new type of adventure. What an incredible year of diving, training, and making memories with our dive community! 🥳🤿

From welcoming brand new divers into the underwater world to helping experienced divers take their skills to new depths, 2026 was a season full of adventure and growth! 💪🤿

We took training to the next level with specialties ranging from Drysuit, Self Reliant, to Technical Diving, and even welcomed a new generation of dive professionals as our newest instructors earned their certifications! 🎓👏

We made a splash at some of our favorite local dive sites, including Haigh Quarry, Pearl Lake, Mermet Springs, Gilboa Quarry, and more!

We brought our dive family together for unforgettable events like Buddy Dive Day, Women's Dive Day, and our annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Competition! 🎃💙

But the best part of this season? YOU! 🫵🫶

We’ve been counting down, sharing tips, and prepping all season long, and the big day is FINALLY HERE! 🥳
