At first glance, it looks like a patchwork butterfly—but it’s actually a sublimated design enhanced with hand-finished details! 🦋

I added textured stitching, a wrapped thread body, beaded accents, and dimensional touches to transform a printed image into a unique piece of wearable art.

This is one of my favorite ways to combine sublimation with sewing and embroidery techniques to create something truly special.

✨ At 56, I’m still brave enough to try something new.

There’s something exciting about stepping outside your comfort zone and experimenting with a new technique. This time, I decided to create a bleach design on a navy shirt using stencils, and watching the artwork come to life was such a rewarding experience.

Every project teaches me something new, and every mistake becomes part of the learning process. Creativity isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being willing to try.

You don’t have to know everything to create something beautiful. Sometimes, you just have to be willing to take the first step. 💙

Today I want to share more than a floral arrangement.

I want to share a reminder.

As I worked on this piece for our church, I added flowers, butterflies, soft colors, and little words that carry a big message:

The sign in the center says:

We never really know what someone else is carrying.

A kind word.

Sometimes a simple T-shirt is just the beginning. ✂️🤍

Father’s Day gifts created before sunrise. ☀️🎁

Some ideas just won’t let you sleep. 😅

I woke up at 2:00 AM with a Father’s Day gift idea and ended up creating five finished gift sets before 8:00 AM.
