The City of Placentia is excited to announce that it has secured $250,000 in federal Community Project Funding to support infrastructure improvements in Old Town Placentia.

On March 13, U.S. Representative Derek Tran joined City officials and local business owners to present a ceremonial check recognizing this important investment.

These funds will support sidewalk improvements, enhanced pedestrian connectivity, and other upgrades designed to improve safety, accessibility, and the overall experience in Old Town. The project is part of the City’s broader revitalization efforts through the Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District (EIFD).

Thank you to Representative Tran for his partnership in helping bring federal resources back to our community and supporting the continued success of Old Town Placentia.

Come Thursday night for another Old Town LIVE event! In partnership with the Placentia Chamber of Commerce, the Placita Santa Fe Merchants Association and the City of Placentia. Old Town LIVE is a live music series taking place on Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The community is encouraged to come out to the 100 Block of Santa Fe Avenue to enjoy a variety of music genres from different artists each week. Dine, shop, and enjoy listening to music in Old Town Placentia! This week features One Last Shot!
