I have been sewing since I was in my early teens, way back when they still had home ec as a class. My mother taught me to sew and my favorite thing was a lined suit that I wore to my sisters wedding. After I had children I sewed some clothes for them and a few things here and there...but when I decided to try to make a quilt....I got hooked! Now that I am a grandmother of 13 grands - you can guess

they each have a quilt. To be economical I started buying fabric from people who were no longer interested in sewing, and soon I got hooked on buying fabrics and that is how my "Sew Me Now Fabrics" shop began. After expenses are cover for selling and buying...I give to charities in my area. My favorite motto is "A Day hemmed in Prayer is Less Likely to Unravel"
