Ever hear about Christmas in July? How about a Yule Log? Well here at the "Scene" we tried to do a Christmas in July but with 100 degree weather, a blackout and crazy rain, and not to mention smoke from our northern neighbors we decided to do a Christmas in July and August. So here you go folks, for the first time in history it will be called a "Jule Aug", soon to be a catchy phrase I would assume. (Damn I wish I can get royalties for this one!). So for this fine event we will be selling "ANYTHING"! Check out our MCM related retro items, CD's, LP's 45"s, audio, and weekend warrior musical projects, stocking stuffers and by the way "Free Layaway until December 20th! you will never know what you will find. Stop by and also enjoy the "Pittston Tomato Festival" We got everything covered but the Sleigh Ride.

Just a reminder, Pittston's June Art Walk of this year will be this Friday starting at 5:00. For a good time out be sure to pop down and enjoy all the city has to offer; great art, great food and great music all through the town. Here at the pocket park near Napoli's Pizza, we at "The Music Scene" will be making our own kind of music with the likes of "Azure Rock", a three-piece blues based rock band, Chuck Paul, an acoustic songwriter soloist, a recital of upcoming artists and a special treat to close out the night. Stop down for a nice time and enjoy all that Pittston has to offer. See you there.

Such a great Saturday night to experience one of the most iconic motivators in my life in music in such an intimate setting of less than 500 people. Mr Roger McGuinn/ aka Jim Mcguinn of the Byrds. A verbal autobiography compiled with solo renditions of past hits that formed a whole generation of sound. Intimate stories of him in the early days with Bob Dylan, David Crosby, Joni Mitchell, Bobby Darin, Joan Baez and George Harrison, just to mention a few. A great night to remember, what a class act.
