Just a reminder, Pittston's first Art Walk of this year will be this Friday starting at 5:00. For a good time out be sure to pop down and enjoy all the city has to offer; great art, great food and great music all through the town. Here at the pocket park near Napoli's Pizza, we at The Music Scene will be making our own kind of music with the likes of "Azure Rock", a three-piece blues based rock band, Chuck Paul, an acoustic songwriter soloist, and Rich Janov doing a number of original numbers. Pop down for a nice time and enjoy all that Pittston has to offer.

Such a great Saturday night to experience one of the most iconic motivators in my life in music in such an intimate setting of less than 500 people. Mr Roger McGuinn/ aka Jim Mcguinn of the Byrds. A verbal autobiography compiled with solo renditions of past hits that formed a whole generation of sound. Intimate stories of him in the early days with Bob Dylan, David Crosby, Joni Mitchell, Bobby Darin, Joan Baez and George Harrison, just to mention a few. A great night to remember, what a class act.

The Next Chapter:
First Off, I would like to thank everyone who gave the Music Scene a "like" throughout the years verbally and on "Social Media" as I never sent out any quests to like the store and I consider each of them very sincere and not provoked.
As years pass nothing stays the same, this also applies to retail affecting the way of buying and selling, communicating, the transfer of goods and currency etc. As a new year moving forward, I would like to mention we will be adjusting to these current trends within the store and with more On-Line commerce and interaction. (I know, it's about time). The web site will be (INACTIVE) in the future. I feel that Facebook is sufficient enough for a business of my size as I do tend to use it more readily. Concentrating on only one cyber avenue I think I will be able to be more thorough, informative, up to date and more interacting than I have been in the past.
I do plan on using on-line selling venues more, but I will post and give knowledge of items to be sold and what platform I use. And as always, all items will be available in the store.
I would like to apologize for my phone issue, (long story) but I have a different carrier and system and will be communicating more efficiently in the future.
Some things never change as well as we will still be offering individual lessons on Guitar, Bass, Piano, & Drums from very accomplished veteran instructors. And as always, we offer repairs on both instruments and electronics.
