Good morning! Today I'm highlighting another vendor who will be at our farmers market this coming Saturday - Jun 6 - 10am-2pm. Good Olde Boys Maple will be there with a variety of maple products - maple cream, maple sugar, maple jelly, maple pasta sauce, maple glaze, and of course - maple syrup. The maple spaghetti sauce is a family recipe so you won't find it anywhere else! You can find all of their products at Local all year.

We still have some sourdough breads available at Local. Tara restocked her cookies and scones yesterday. There are still some beautiful flower bouquets available as well as some single roses with babys breath. And of course, the work of over 70 NH artisans can be found at Local.

Well that was alot of rain last night! It was coming down so hard that it woke me up a few times. But we need the rain so I'm always thankful when it rains during the night rather than all day long!

Mark your calenders for June 6th - next Saturday - 10am-2pm. We will have the first "Market at the Local". Yesterday I introduced our honey vendor. Today I want to spotlight another vendor - Misty Morning Farm. Jennette and her two daughters will have tomatoes, lettuce, radishes, rhubarb, beets,and potted herbs. And let's not forget the fruit pies that the girls make! For those of you who have previously visited the Barnstead Farmers Market, you know how delicious these pies are. You may want to stop by early before the pies sell out.

Local will open at 9:30am on Market Day so vendors can get their tents set up and their products on the table ready to sell.

Good morning all! What are you thankful for today? I am thankful that we are getting rain and not snow!!

I'll be posting some info about the vendors we will have at Local next weekend for our first "Market at the Local" - Saturday, June 6th 10am-2pm. Paul, aka, Blackwater Honey Forge, previously known as Raven Creek, will be at Local with honey and other products including lip balms, beard balms, lotion bars, and beeswax candles. You can find his products yearround at Local.

Good morning! I hope you are enjoying this great stretch of weather! I love being able to let the fresh air into Local.
Tara will be delivering freshly baked sourdough breads to Local this morning. We have scones and cookies as well as other treats available. We have a great selection of NH made items here at Local - something for every occasion!
On June 6, we will have a few farmers setting up tents in our parking lot for a mini farmers market. It will run from 10am-2pm. I will be posting more information this week. It has been a number of years since there has been a farmers market here in Pittsfield and we wanted to offer this opportunity to the community. If there is a good response, we are hoping more farms will join us and we can possibly expand this event next summer. You could say, we are testing the waters this year. So, stay tuned for more details!

Happy Saturday! Yes- Local is open this holiday weekend. We will have plenty of sourdough breads, cookies, and treats. What a beautiful morning - very thankful that the heat is gone and we have much more comfortable temps! The door at Local will be open today to let in all the fresh air.

Sharon restocked her shelf with some very nice patriotic themed wood items. Sandy brought some patriotic themed flower wraps - a mix of red,white, and blue flowers. Tara brought fresh sourdough breads to Local - the counter is overflowing with goodness!!

Happy Sunday! I hope you got to enjoy the beautiful weather we had yesterday. Looks like we have a stretch of great weather coming our way!.

Tara restocked her cookies and brought maple walnut scones to Local yesterday. We had more farm fresh eggs delivered to Local. We have a variety of beautiful flower bouquets available as well as some single long stem roses with baby's breath.

Looks like a couple of rainy days before we return to some summer temps! The warmer temps will feel good after these cooler rainy days!
Sandy brought some new stained glass pieces to Local. Sandy #2 brought more fresh flower wraps as well as some single flower wraps. Tara brought fresh cookies and a variety of sourdough breads to Local.

Good morning all! Today is sourdough bread delivery day at Local.! I love the smell of fresh baked bread.
We have a restock of the himalayan salt scrub. There are 3 scents (more will be coming soon) - rose, baby oil, and lavender. Use of this scrub helps to exfoliate dead skin which will open clogged pores so your skin can absorb oils and moisturizers more readily. Great to use on those rough elbows or the soles of your feet.

Speaking of dry, scaly skin - check out the crockodile that Jen brought to Local! She keeps coming up with new creatures almost every week!
