Still rocking the grinder but these three are coming along! Don't let the rust on the two chef knives fool ya! Gotta dip em in water while grinding to keep them cool. They don't rust as easy after heat treat!

Well the hammer is finally in motion again down here in Barkerville! Thanks to my 10 year old son Max and him getting the itch, I once again dusted off the anvil, filled the tanks, and started swinging til I got the biggest blister on my hand! Max had been here through most of it! He's even working the tongs and the hammer for me! These are pics of two we're working on. One is Max's project, the other is hopefully going to be a chef knife but, may be a bit too small so may have to redirect that and start the chef knife again. The metal is pieces of axel from my father's 1950 MG. Extremely high quality steel! Stay tuned is gonna be a fun ride this summer!
