Our mission is to inspire eco-concious, cruelty-free and natural living by handcrafting products that people can feel good about having in their home and on their bodies. We hand-blend, pour, and label our candles in our Pittsburgh home studio using sustainable soy, phthalate-free perfume oils infused with essential oils, and cotton braided wicks. We pride ourselves on our inspired artisan-ship, ethical production, and accessible prices.

Our Insect Repellent Balm has a bunch of bug-unfriendly ingredients, but one that’s really important is Raspberry Seed Oil.

Of course, it repels insects, especially mosquitoes due to it’s alpha-pinene and limonene.

It’s also antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, so it helps with repairing skin *after* bites have occurred.

And if that isn’t enough, it provides a moderate barrier against UVA and UVB rays.

Talk about a multi-tasker ingredient because not only is she working for you before bites have happened, but also if one breaks through and gets you!

Say bonjour 👋 to our new insect repellant balm!

Toss into your bag when you’re heading out the door in the morning and reapply all day to keep the bugs at bay.

Pairs perfectly with our insect repellant spray, but so much easier and lighter to pack on your hikes, picnics, and summer adventures.

Here’s what’s inside:

Soybean oil- deters mosquitos, ticks, gnats and flies.

Vitamin E - reduces inflammation from bites. Protects from oxidative stress (sun, pollution).

Raspberry Seed Oil - antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, repairs skin after bites have occurred. Moderate barrier against UVA and UVB rays. Known to repel insects, especially mosquitoes due to it’s alpha-pinene and limonene.

Candelilla - deeply hydrates, great for keeping skin happy during summer exposure.

Rose geranium, citronella, lemon eucalyptus, lavender, and rosemary essential oils all work together to repel insects (and smell great).
